Recruitment Coordinator - Mining & Trades

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to support the day to day operations and provide a second to none recruitment service to our Mining & Trades Division.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • High Volume, end to end recruitment and sourcing i.e. preparing, writing and placing advertisements with appropriate job boards and social media
  • Candidate screening, interviews, references, interview confirmations with clients & ongoing candidate care
  • Candidate pooling and market research to identify where the candidates are and what their expectations consist of
  • Ensuring our internal database is kept up to date and necessary notes and comments are added
  • Experience managing large accounts (Tier 1) is an advantage
  • Travelling to sites (Perth & Remote) with the business development manager and conducting site inspections, OH&S inspections etc…
  • Ensuring that you establish a second to none working relationship with candidates and clients alike
  • You will have the support of our administrator to ensure you can meet your goals and targets

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills & attributes:

  • Previous recruitment experience, preferably within the Mining, Trades and/or Drilling industry
  • Knowledge of recruiting the following roles, but not limited to – Plant Operators, HDF's, Auto Electricians, Mining Construction Trades i.e. Carpenters, Electricians etc..., OH&S Personnel, Administration and Senior Mining Professionals (Project Managers, Construction Managers etc)
  • Be highly organised and task oriented
  • Show initiative and the ability to complete tasks autonomously and make decisions
  • Have a strong work ethic and excellent morals and ethics towards dealing with people
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
