  1. Complete a course with Redfield Drilling Services today!

Redfield Resources is directly affiliated with Redfield Drilling Services. If you or someone you know is having no luck breaking into the sector, RDS runs a 4-day training course that will provide you with direct hands on experience. This course is run by industry professionals and offers second to none exposure to real site conditions. This will help to set you apart from the rest!

  1. Obtain a HR – Unrestricted licence

All surface drilling jobs will require you to have your HR licence. There are a variety of companies within WA that can provide this training – It will cost approx. $1300 so get saving and get that licence! It will be sure to increase your opportunities within the industry.
To apply for an HR licence, you must:

  • Have held a class C licence, (except a learner licence) or equivalent for two years or more
  • Pass the HR knowledge test
  • Pass an eyesight test
  • Pass a heavy Vehicle Theory test (If Required)
  • Pass the practical Driving Assessment Heavy Rigid (HR Class)
  • Once passed – obtain your new licence

  1. Ensure you still have a Clean NPC & the ability to pass a medical – Remember the actions you take outside of work on your R&R can really impact your career!
